I got an email from a friend this evening. It was such a touching email and I love her for it. She wanted to let me know how happy she was to see how far I’ve become in this short career of mine. I love you Mina!! After coming home from my BFF’s bday party and tucking Giant into bed(I sleep very late), I re-read her email. I then went back and looked at my earlier sessions and naturally I cringed. Boy has my style changed and I was almost tempted to delete those photos and never to look at them again. But I stopped myself and said I needed those pics around to keep me humbled and grounded. And one of these days when I do make this dream a huge success, I can look back to those sessions and laugh and cry ‘cuz those sessions were the making of a new and happy me.
I’ll be shooting a wedding today in Evanston (yeah) alongside Jessica Conroy from Mercury Five in California. This will be our first time meeting so I’m excited!!! I can’t wait to post these pictures so stay tuned! Wish me luck!!
