If you’re wondering who this gorgeous goddess pictured here is, meet Brenda. You’ve never seen this pretty face featured on the good ‘ol blog, but that’s not because I haven’t photographed her before––Brenda once posed for a sexy boudoir shoot which I got the ixnay on posting to the Internet, hrmph. (You’ll just have to trust me that the pictures were amazing.)
This time, Brenda wanted a pretty session to spoil herself rotten for passing her CPA exam, so, pretty she got! In the gilded glow of the historic Cuneo Mansion and Gardens, built nearly a century ago, Brenda looks timeless amidst the mansion’s old world elegance. She brought along not one, not two, but three stunning gowns to float in about the mansion’s lavish grounds. (I’m particularly swooning for that French blue lace confection of a frock you will see when you scroll down. It’s a Tadashi, I had to find out.)
Recognize the garden? It was the film location for the outdoor wedding scenes in My Best Friend’s Wedding!
The last time I was at Cuneo Mansion, my talented photographer friend, Joshua Albanese, shot my one-year wedding anniversary photos! I proposed Cuneo Mansion for Brenda’s shoot because a) it’s simply stunning and an underrated, hidden gem, and b) it’s less expensive than renting a hotel room downtown. Would you imagine that? Oh, silly Chicago.
I can’t think of anything prettier than all this, so mission accomplished, yes?
xo, Melissa
