Sometimes ‘look at her like you adore her’ turns into this…
Megha and Mannar’s engagement session in Lincoln Park was filled with glorious golden light, lots of laughter, and a glimpse of the spectacular high rises in our pretty little city. The lovebirds flocked to Chi-town eight months ago from Pittsburgh, where they met in grad school. Like true newlyweds-to-be, Megha playfully bossed around Mannar, and he always nodded sweetly in agreement like any good husband.
So the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park may in fact be becoming one of my fave places for shoots (see here, and another shoot at the lily pool coming soon to the blog)… pretty dreamy if you ask me! We also shot at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Work consumes both of them, and Megha also travels four days a week, so she’s usually wiped when she gets back to Chicago. This e-sesh provided them a mini tour of their city – they LOVED discovering Lincoln Park and these two gems off the beaten path.
They will be tying the knot in traditional Indian fashion in India in December. Congrats and good luck, Megha and Mannar!
