WARNING: Your Wednesday is about to get a little steamy.

If you didn’t get your fix of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, here’s a peek at a real-life hottie slash new momma . . .

romantic sexy maternity boudoirRemember Tiffany and Ly? This gorgeous couple just welcomed Haley Lauren into the world earlier this week. But before the little cutie patootie arrived, Tiffany and Ly rocked a smokin’ hot maternity shoot (check out Part 1 here)––she’s proof that it is possible to be 35 weeks preggo AND still working the sexy gowns and lingerie!

romantic sexy maternity boudoirThe shoot took place at a quaint B&B in Galveston, Texas, where they just moved to a few months ago. I wanted some place impossibly romantic and vintage, and I think The Mermaid & Dolphin more than satisfies this criteria, don’t you?

If you think these photos are provocative, well, let’s just say there are many more but we’ll save those for Ly’s eyes only, k?

As for Baby Haley? Yea, she’s certifiably beautiful, just like her parents.

Congratulations on your little bundle of joy!

What do photographers do when they want to get in front of the lens for a change? Collaborate with one of their very best peers!

After Roman turned one, we had our family session done by the talented Suzy from Simply by Suzy. It happened to be 40 degrees and super windy that day in November, but I had to wear my silk dress.

That’s hard-core love for your family, right?

We shot at a wooded area in Schaumburg, where the light was just magical and the natural fields a perfect backdrop for a dreamy, sumptuous settee from here. Luckily for me, Suzy and I met at a photography networking meetup awhile back. I think she’s just fabulous! She also did Roman’s newborn sesh and a Mommy and Me for us earlier this year. I wanted to work with one photographer for all our family’s first year photos to carry through a consistent style and vision.

Roman had a blast romping around the fields. Even though it was cold, he’s the best baby. He had a blast and warmed up to Suzy real quick. She managed to get all these lovely shots in under an hour!

Okay, who else LOOOOOVES the camera Suzy shoots with? It’s a Contax 645 film camera that produces the most amazing vintage-quality photos, and let’s just say that I’m not-so-secretly hoping Santa brings it to me this year.

Those of you who know me, know that I left the dental industry years ago to pursue my passion for professional photography. Those of you that know me well, know that I strive to make the magic come alive in photos. But I bet what you all do not know is that I shed tears at every single wedding while I try to tell your love story with images in the same, beautiful, hopeless romantic way my own felt feels.

So a few months ago, I made the decision to add another dimension to my work, to give prospective clients a first look at how I work, how I interact with my couples. It’s one thing to look at a 2-D portfolio of pretty pictures, but it’s equally as important to get a feel for your photographer’s M.O. Their mojo. Their flair. Get what I mean?

Special thanks to the fabulous Brian of Pogi Video for spending several days shooting me, editing me, all to give you a glimpse into my world. Thanks also go to Jennifer and Brian, and to Rajul and Mehul, for allowing us to film behind-the-scenes at your weddings.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth . . . well, I’ll just let you decide! Without further ado . . . please enjoy!

Thank you all for your support over the years! I couldn’t have grown Melissa Diep Photography to what it is today without all my wonderful clients, referrals, friends and family who have encouraged me from the very beginning.
