Here’s a quick blog on my newborn session yesterday with the adorable Evelyn.  Currently at 8.5 months preggers, this will probably be my last session before the arrival of Little G.  Can’t believe I’m going to have one of these angels in my arms in 2.5 weeks or less.  Eeek!!  So stinking excited!!  Ok, back to Evelyn, lol.  At only eight days old, she is insanely adorable!  At one point during the session, while Evelyn’s mom Michelle tried putting her to sleep, it was so relaxing, I found myself wanting to dose off with Baby Evelyn.  Lol.  Here are some of my favorites from yesterday’s session!

beautiful images of michelle’s baby. i don’t usually like music on websites, but the music is beautiful. it certainly makes me want to stay.

Typically I would shoot my client’s lifestyle session before their wedding.  But because Anna and Vivek were living in California until right before their wedding, it was not possible.  So we decided to do things backwards and shoot their session after the wedding.  It’s always a pleasure seeing these two again.  They’re easy and up for anything.

We chose one of my favorite hotels to shoot in Chicago for this session.  The gorgeous Dana Hotel and Spa.  They were even kind enough to let us use the entire Vertigo Sky Lounge for ourselves.  A rainy gloomy morning turned out to be a gorgeous day.  The lighting was just gorgeous for their shoot.

Here are some of my favs from our session.  Leave a comment below and let me know what you think!

Thanks for sharing! We had so much fun with you!! All the best in the coming weeks!

I met Laura through my past bride Katrina.  Laura and Glen currently lives in Australia so for the past year, we’ve been going back and forth via email.  It was so nice seeing her again and meeting Glen for the first time the day before their wedding.  They chose San Francisco because it was a great halfway point for friends and families that lives all over the country.  I am an absolute fan of small intimate weddings.  They’re surrounded by their closest friends and families and you can feel so much love everyone has for these two.  It’s a privilege to be able to document both Laura and Glen’s wedding.

The day before Laura and Glen’s wedding, Emily and I drove up to the top of Mt. Tamalpais and saw this stunning location.  It was breathtaking.  We literally felt like we were on top of the world.

Ceremony and Reception was held at the Mountain Home Inn in Mill Valley.  The San Francisco fog came rolling in during the reception but everyone that sat on the patio braved it.

A special thanks to the talented Emily Gualdoni for coming to second shoot.  It was so much fun and I couldn’t have thought of a more perfect person to bring.  Actually, I didn’t think to bring anyone else other than you Emily!

Thank you so much Laura and Glen for having both me and Emily there to document your beautiful day.  We had such a great time and loved being surrounded with so many of your friends and family.  Too bad you both are so far away and I won’t get to see your until God knows when.  Hopefully we’ll cross paths again.  You both are truly a gem!!
